Italy Trip 2006 Part1 @ 7:20 AM

OK I shall attempt to recall my trip from 1 month ago.

Day 1 - Milan

Arrived in Milan at noon, took a bus to the central train station. Super jam!! Reach station about 2 hours later when the journey should have taken only 30 mins. Deposited our bags at the station, and we went to have lunch. Drop by this place, looks quite posh, we order a few pizzas to share, the pizza damn big! but apparently its one person's portion. The waitress was a bit bu shuang.. she said if we not gonna order more food at least order drinks.. so 3 of us ordered cappucino. the food's not bad, but the waitress attitude is.. eeek!

THen after that we went to shop around the shopping area, I forgot what the area was called. Ermz.. opps.. so don't really have any pictures...

Took an evening train to venice! Reached there at midnight. No bus, took a cab, and I think we were conned a bit.

Day 2 - venice

Was taking a photo, then some random guy came to hug me.. would have been great if the guy is handsome.. sob.. ( who says italy has handsome guys????)






A random building which we thought looked familiar and we decided that we had seen in b4 in one of the Jay Chou's MTV. But apparently, it's really a random building.



St Marco's Square - this big big area where there are a few buildings surrounding. Jay chou went here to shoot his November's Chopin Album!!!!!!!

Took a night train again to Florence.

Day 3 - Florence

Eating beef stomach sandwich. Its quite nice actually!


we went to an art musuem (Galleria Academis (i think)) that features the famous sculpture by michelangelo- David. can't take pictures in the musuem, but we found a replica along the way to another musuem.. but the real thing is like 3 times the size..



Oh and they clearly carved "that thing" out. Not attempting to cover it with leaves or cloth. Same goes for almost every other sculptures in Italy.

we also went to this musuem called uffizi, ( aside from the naked cough cough sculptures), they also dedicated a section to da vinci. Forget newton, enstein ,anderson man.. da vinci is the real genius... OMG. then we left the musuem saying that our goal in life to become the next da vinci.

dinner.. this is the best dinner i had in italy
the steak ( although cost a whoppin 40 SGD) is delcious byond words... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
